OHIO MEDICAID EXPANSION EXCEEDS PROJECTIONS

Ohio Governor John Kasich went around the Legislature to enact Medicaid expansion under ObamaCare. Original projection called for 275,000 sign ups but now have reached 450,000.

Of course, Ohio taxpayers aren’t paying for Medicaid expansion yet. It’s Washington money only until 2017. And then Ohio begins paying part of the freight on a whole lot more people than they figured.

Interestingly, reports indicate self paying and charity medical accounts are down as government pays more.
