GREEN NEW DEALER GEORGE SOROS ALL IN WITH ROY COOPER

Uber billionaire George Soros has now made his personal donation to Governor Cooper. https://cf.ncsbe.gov/CFOrgLkup/ReportDetail/?RID=173521&TP=REC

No surprise there.  Soros’ Democratic fundraising network is behind Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s – the Democratic Socialist from New York – Green New Deal. https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-resolution/109/text

What’s the Green New Deal?  If you haven’t heard – it’s a radical scheme to cut CO2 emissions (carbon dioxide) down to nothing in ten years. And a radical restructuring of what you can eat, the house you can live in, your cost of energy and much more.

The Wall Street Journal said “Consider its goal of massive public investment to achieve 100% renewable energy in as little as 10 years. Kevin Book, head of research at ClearView Energy Partners, a research firm, estimates replacing the 83% of current U.S. generation that is not renewable with solar photovoltaic, wind and biomass would cost $2.9 trillion—nearly a full year’s tax revenue.”

Of course – the total cost is $93 trillion. And every Democrat for President has a Green New Deal.

Guess what — Roy Cooper does, too!

Cooper’s Green New Deal calls for zero CO2 emissions by 2050 (Tarboro Weekly 9/4/19). Hopefully, he’ll let us keep breathing since CO2 is the gas we exhale out of our mouth and nose. https://governor.nc.gov/news/governor-cooper-and-north-carolina-move-forward-clean-energy-plan

Joe Biden has the same objective and he says his plan costs $5 trillion. https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-joe-biden-climate-plan-net-zero-emissions-2050-20190604-story.html

North Carolina emits 2.23% of the country’s total CO2. https://www.chooseenergy.com/data-center/carbon-dioxide-by-state/

So if you do the math, our piece of the action will amount to 2.23% of $5 trillion — or about $11,000 for every man, woman and child in North Carolina. Given George Soros’ radical vision — from drug legalization to the Green New Deal — do we want a Governor in his pocket?
