Republicans Dietz and Allen hold leads
Voters will choose two of the seven justices on the North Carolina Supreme Court in November. In the first polling data released post-primary, Republican Richard Dietz leads Democrat Lucy Inman, and Republican Trey Allen leads Democrat Sam Ervin.
Democrats currently have a 4-3 majority on the high court. If both polling leads hold, Republicans will control a 5-2 majority beginning next year.
